Tourism and Environment in the USSR

You and your research (brief description)
My research looks into the connections between tourism and environmental protection in the late Soviet period. I look at this both from the standpoint of how tourism was used to engender a "correct" relationship to the environment, and how tourism was used as a justification for preserving landscapes vis-a-vis the formation of national parks.
